Mask shōji

Personal work

Artwork I made during my residency at Almost Perfect in Taito-ku, Tokyo.

Inspired by the masks sold at the market stalls in Asakusa and the shoji frames that are used as doors and windows in Tokyo.

Photo by Jaime Miki. Displayed in a handmade shoji frame made by Paco during my show 'A few hours in Tokyo' in July 2022.

These masks were also used as Whatsapp stickers in the Pack app.
